Buttery
Leather
There’s
something about the feel & look of leather that makes me tingle with
pleasure. Its expensive & edgy aesthetic, plus its added versatility makes
it a timeless piece that everyone should at least have in their collection.
The
leather hype started to create a major storm last Autumn/Winter 2019 and its now become a
transitional piece that has been pushed further this Spring/Summer 2020. Though leather has been around for a hot minute, we are
starting to see variations of styles & lighter colour
pallets being incorporated this season. From the catwalk, to our favourite
style icons, leather is dominating the fashion scene and I don’t know about
you, but I am jumping the bandwagon because it’s such a bad-ass look!
The
high street has definitely taken note and now we see a plethora of leathershirts, blazers and even leather look puffer jackets. I
know! We are spoilt for choice! My favourite
high street brand that is providing me the life I need for this trend at the
moment is Zara. My home, my go-to and the one that I willingly go broke for…
*sighs in Spanish*. However, they always kill it when it comes to offering
trendy pieces & dupes to the market. I highly recommend!

A
look that has stood out to me in a major way is the concept of layering your
outfits together using the same fabric. Something as simple & effortless as
this, has the ability to make a huge impact to any look. Seen with denim,
leather has become the new fabric of choice and I’m absolutely loving it! With
a diverse range of leather clothing currently seen in the market, this concept
has been made possible. Having saved so many inspired looks on my Instagram, I
was so ready to try this look out! Here it is guys, my take on the transitional all leather trend.
